Case study · Legal EdTech · 2026

LawWorld.

A top-down RPG that turns case law into a walkable city. 225 buildings; each one a judgment. Walk up, knock on the door, and the law comes alive.

LawWorld world map

The brief

Legal study is dense, abstract, and easy to forget. The brief was simple: make it stick. Not through flashcards or PDFs — through a world you actually want to spend time in.

LawWorld puts every case and statute on a map. The city is divided into districts; each district is a subject; each building is a case. Your cat walks with you. The autumn trees change colour as you move between neighbourhoods.

The badge system

Two visual layers; one glance to know what matters.

★

Gold — Exam Priority

Marks cases your examiner has flagged as high-priority. Cluster in the tort-trespass and tort-psychiatric districts. Walk through and every gold-starred building is a case worth knowing cold.

D

Purple — Dissertation

Flags buildings relevant to your dissertation. In the contract-digital district; Receipt Rule, Brinkibon, and Digital Age form a tight triangle — three cases that rewrite the same postal rule across a century of technology.
